Jeune Mort

Add to my favorites

Jeune mort is a live-radio device where a story is told, under headphones.

Jeune mort is a violent, raw narrative.
It's the story of an enlistment, the chilling tale of a conflagration.

The tale of a broken youth who finds flame only in the far right.

Newly employed in the green spaces of a formerly industrialized town, a man befriends a colleague who turns out to be an extremist political activist. On the day the town hall inaugurates a reception center for refugees, everything goes haywire.

After Grès and Le Temps des fins hosted last season, the author and director in residence continues with Jeune mort, his work on the edge of political and poetic writing. Behind the scenes of the irresistible passage to violence, Guillaume Cayet's acerbic chronicle unfolds intimately, accompanied by composer Karam Al Zouhir, and sound designer Antoine Briot; a way of bringing the spoken word to the hollow of our ear and the imaginary closer.

An experience that holds us spellbound from start to finish.
