I’m Fine

March 2022. Russia declared war on Ukraine a month ago and, forced to flee, the KnAM Théâtre troupe finds refuge in Lyon. If Nous ne sommes plus... was about the shock of uprooting and the pain of fitting one's life into a single suitcase, they now share their experience of immigration. How notions of home, homeland and refuge have been transformed since, in this new land, they are "learning to walk again".
The company shatters stubborn mythologies: that of Russians convinced that the whole world envies their country, and that of Europeans fascinated by the "enigmatic Russian soul". As an associate artist at Les Célestins, she is an artist in the art of using documents, images and singular artistic forms to flesh out a message that is both political and sensitive. And, in so doing, to better understand how our shared memories are constructed.
