Il a beaucoup souffert Lucifer

"My biggest fault in this world will have been sticking my fingers up my nose." Lucifer, 10, CM2 B, Mme Mademoiselle's class

What if the devil wasn't who we think he is? What if the devil in this case was just a good little boy, victim of all? And what if, far from the pitchfork and sharp teeth, Lucifer was just a 10-year-old boy nicknamed so by his class and martyred by them. Especially by Gabriel, his former best friend. Humiliation, mockery, violence: anything goes to make Lucifer's life a living hell. Especially since the teacher is more concerned with her reflection in the water than with what's going on in the classroom. And what if, rather than pulling out his horns, Lucifer preferred to study his tormentor with a magnifying glass to better understand him?
For after all, maybe it's Gabriel who's going wrong?

"Harassment at school, a serious theme to which the show invites us to reflect, is finely handled in Antonio Carmona's text (ed. Théâtrales, 2020) and interpreted with accuracy and energy by the four actors. Of course, we see humiliation and stupidity, the suffering of the harassed and the violence of the harassers. But the author goes beyond this distressing observation: he juggles with words, plays with humor and, without ever taking the easy way out, deconstructs situations. The staging, with just four chairs and two tables, reveals all the flavor and depth of a text that speaks above all of the complexity of human relationships."
