One man, the first man, seems to have written - to be writing - to be inventing - a play - a plot - a staging.
One day - today - at the time of the performance - another man and a woman - discover - read - invent this play.
The play recounts the memory, in bits and pieces, of their shared past when they lived together. Each discovers the first man's version, his perceptions, his doubts, his fears, his loneliness.
The other man and the woman contribute their comments - their memories - their inventions - of this shared past and of what they were during the time they were apart.
They loved each other - they love each other - they hate each other - they violate each other.
This is the story of creation, of rehearsal, of the construction of a story, of a show. It's also the story of the love between people.
