Echappées 2025
The CNAC - Centre National des Arts du Cirque graduation show is the circus world's unmissable rendez-vous at La Villette to discover the prowess and promise of tomorrow's artists.
This year's show is imagined and directed by author, performer, stage and ring director Halory Goerger. Co-founder of Amicale de Production, Goerger is equally at home in musical theater, circus and installation. His work includes &&&&& & &&& and Germinal, two shows that toured internationally for many years. For this aptly-named Le Spectacle de la fin des études, he takes his concept of a meta-theatrical, playful and zany stage further: "Fourteen people are trying to understand what's going on in a show that hasn't yet been written, performed by people who haven't yet finished learning how to do what they already do very well, who haven't decided how they're going to do it." How will the eight disciplines that make up the 37 th CNAC class (balancing, Chinese mast, Cyr wheel, acro-dance, supple wire, acrobatic lifts, fixed trapeze, straps) embody this funny, luminous moment of sharing? Enough to pique the curiosity of seasoned performers and neophytes alike.
