"Du luxe et de l'impuissance et autres textes" is a non-theatrical piece of writing that offers small "skylights" on the contemporary world: glimpses into art and culture, places of culture and dissemination, publishing and the lives of actors, the place of artists in society and the transmission of ideas through theater, but also the intimacy of relationships with others. There are questions we all ask ourselves about the usefulness of art, about new metaphors of hope, about artistic practice and their inscriptions in natural spaces, in urban spaces, on sites or even in devices that traditionally do not directly integrate the theatrical act.
