Two circus artists reinvent the wheel (Cyr)
Through her committed, highly physical relationship with the Cyr wheel, Marica cultivates an unusual language with this apparatus. Jef, on the other hand, uses a playful, meticulous style of balancing and dodging to give his wheel impulses that would otherwise be impossible. Between confrontation and complicity, the two circus artists explore the tension and harmony of their opposing visions. Hybridizing acrobatics and juggling, they experiment with suspension and flight to reinvent the fundamentals of their apparatus, going so far as to bring it to life. An aerial, wildly freewheeling creation.
