Two monologues, two voices, which cross without actually meeting. He's dying in hospital of laryngeal cancer, and retraces his dented life in fragmented thoughts. She, barely out of adolescence, accompanies him, takes care of him, observes and learns to be a nurse, confronted with the death of this very first patient who is leaving. Without ever engaging in dialogue, an exchange takes place, beyond untranslatable words. And while the body of one leaves this world, the other seeks a place in it, and faces the crumbling living of which he too will one day soon be a forgotten trace. Two lives, one ending, the other beginning. A unique creation requires a unique set-up; to best appreciate the performance and allow a total fusion between the work, the spectators and the artists, everyone will be seated on the theater stage, surrounded by the artistic team, and will be able to enjoy the experience lying down, sitting up or cross-legged!
