Chroniques maritales

Add to my favorites

A man and a woman, once again, a tiny last time, face to face, one next to the other, one against the other, "tout contre".
A married man and woman, a couple, all those years together, sharing existence, fighting over it, and nothing else, nobody else but them, feeding off each other, devouring each other, "being one half".
It's almost nothing, no essential event, nothing that can be marked or lost, nothing, everyday life, the daily life of this couple - there, its thousand and thousand terrifying wars constantly renewed, nothing else.
A dialogue in the same bitterly disputed space, and a multitude of scenes.
It's about something so small, so unimportant, it's so widespread and has been for so long, it tries to talk about the obscure reasons that sometimes, absent-mindedly, lead a man and a woman to marry and stay married.
