Cheminements
In *Cheminements*, Flop continues its poetic exploration of light and invites us on a journey into the heart of a dreamlike landscape through a performance of great visual beauty. Awe is guaranteed!
During a camping stop, a solitary hiker sets up his tent and lights a campfire. Playing with light and whatever comes to hand, he creates images that appear as if by magic. Little by little, a forest takes shape on stage, and we find ourselves embarked on a still journey into the very depths of nature and its mysteries, accompanied by the words of this poet-walker. In the creations of the Angers-based collective Zur, or through his personal projects—whether performances or installations—the man who describes himself as a “bricoluminologist” manipulates light in full view and plays with materials, objects, and the body. And since the true journey consists of seeing with new eyes, he continues on his path here alongside his partner Julie.
