Après nous, les ruines

It all begins on a spring Sunday. Four friends gather for a picnic in a park. At first, spirits are high, but joy soon gives way to concern, as an invisible threat hovers in the air and rumbles beneath the earth, unidentified by anyone. The following night, a catastrophe strikes, creating a crisis that has a lasting effect on the characters' daily lives. Yet they prefer to ignore the consequences. Season after season, they return to the same park, where they try to get back to their old ways. But the disaster has changed them, and from then on, we witness the gradual, irreparable disruption of the group.
