ANIMA

ANIMA or the meeting of visual artist Noémie Goudal and director Maëlle Poésy around an immersive object that aims to concern and touch the audience as closely as possible. Drawing on paleoclimatological research and studies of our perceptions in enclosed environments, the two artists question our sensations and our need for spatial and temporal reference points. What kind of vertigo do we feel when the horizon disappears, or even the roughness of the ground? What disruptions do we experience when we can no longer separate day from night? Accompanied by Chloé Thévenin's musical creation, the video device in which we are immersed speaks to us of our landscapes, and evokes the invisible metamorphoses of our habitats. Within this suspended proposition, performance artist Chloé Moglia comes to traverse the geography of ANIMA and gives us to experience the physical and plastic sensation of time. "What is the present if not an acute instant of feeling? It's important to us to recount the convergence of times, a past that nourishes a present that is part of a future. "
