Red ties, blond locks, orange faces: welcome to a courtroom where Donald Trump's America tries as best it can to deliver justice.

In the masterpiece 12 Angry Men, Reginald Rose's play adapted for the screen by Sydney Lumet in 1957, the word of a single man gradually cracked the certainties of a popular jury that had to decide the fate of a teenager from a working-class neighborhood, accused of murder. 70 years later, the politics of the 47th president of the United States gives it new relevance.

Very freely inspired by the text of the play and improvisations, interviews and other current documents, Marlène Saldana and Jonathan Drillet entrust Studio 8 at École du Nord with a re-reading of this judicial huis clos, a "democratic nightmare in the White House" version.

Divorced between the Constitution and the Art of the Deal, the students will try to apply to the letter the invaluable advice given to Donald Trump by his former strategy consultant, Steve Bannon: "you've got to flood the zone with shit". A unique opportunity to discover on stage the up-and-coming artists of the École du Nord, those who will make the theater of tomorrow.
