Vache sans herbe

This morning, Juliette sees her doctor, Marcel Boulignon. He tells her she has lumps in her tummy. Juliette has got herself all knotted up from worrying so much! It has to be said that life hasn’t been kind to her. Alban, her father, and then Martin, her boyfriend, have both gone to join the angels. For Alban, it was his time, but what about Martin? Those two haunt her and leave her with knots in her stomach: it’s so hard to stay, to carry on… Boulignon doesn’t know what to do; in fact, he’s never known what to do with this family! On top of everything else, he has to cope with a toothache and his wife’s departure. Whilst everyone retreats into their own misery, Romance Vinciguerra, Juliette’s mother, bursts onto the scene and turns everything upside down. She’s hot-blooded – she’s Italian, after all. As far as she’s concerned, Juliette must be saved at all costs!
