You take a man - then a younger man - you put them together - you move them into a kind of studio (so one is an artist painter and the other a model man) a place of obstacles and music, cluttered with all sorts of things conducive to work, fun, noise, pleasure and boredom; in fact, a closed space where nothing, neither matter, nor colors, nor sounds, is definitive. So, you're going to observe - you provoke chance - you bring them together (the painter and his model), you take them apart (even if the space is narrow) and you note avoidances, abandonments and what remains after the shocks, after the embrace. You note everything that liquid exhaustion brings, the chemistry of tired minds and bodies, sophisticated organisms, delivering flows of words, sweat and mad laughter, everything that scratches at the truth. You have no fear: we leave the light on, there's always noise and what's true is long dead.
