Trilogie de la révolution
*Trilogy of the Revolution* comprises three plays that form a multifaceted exploration of the human condition in its progressive dimension. Through a masterful use of humour, the work reveals the great disappointments of the past century in relation to the idea of revolution.
In each of these plays, four characters in an enclosed space – at once concentric and centrifugal – parody the grand dreams of individuals subjugated to a higher authority. The harsh language shifts the performance towards implausible scenes of stupidity, allowing us to assert that revolution is devouring us from within, and that it will never happen.
Argument against the existence of intelligent life in the Southern Cone features students planning a triple bomb attack on universities in the region.
On the Theory of Eternal Return Applied to the Revolution in the Caribbean features Uruguayan soldiers in Port-au-Prince who are besieged by armed revolutionaries.
