In 2012, Theseus leaves “the city in the West” and sets out for a new life to escape the memories of his family. He takes three boxes of archives with him, leaves everything else in disarray, and boards the last night train heading east with his children. He believes he is heading toward the light, toward a new beginning. But very quickly, the past catches up with him. Theseus persists. Like a modern man, he refuses to face the investigation his body forces upon him, until he finally reopens “the windows of time”…
