Paris, 2027. Ever since women have been speaking out and being heard, new medical conditions have emerged that have alarmed the WHO and the scientific community. To address this, the Pitié-Salpétrière Hospital has just opened a treatment unit led by Rose Spillerman, an iconoclastic neuropsychiatrist, flanked by her steadfast assistant Mario, the hospital choir director. Today, accompanied by her sister Marguerite, Iris is being held for observation because she has suddenly stopped speaking. No stone will be left unturned in the quest to unravel the mystery of Iris—and the hospital room becomes the setting for all manner of fiction and phantasmagoria.
