Start again

Start Again plunges us into the life of Joachim, a 30-year-old coder who, after being made redundant from a major video game development studio, decides to design a game all on his own. He is very quickly confronted with the obstacles of reality: a lack of inspiration, money, design bugs, competition, loneliness… He becomes increasingly immersed in the virtual world he is creating.
A work of fiction based on interviews with creators and players, Start Again takes us behind the scenes of the gaming world, highlights the blurring boundary between the real and the virtual, and invites us to consider the scale of this phenomenon as a central issue in our hyper-connected societies.
