Seuls les arbres pleurent toujours

Suzie lives with her mum and dad: a violent man. To escape these daily storms, she takes refuge either at her grandad’s house or at the foot of a tree: a weeping willow. To the first, who sees nothing of her suffering even though he loves her, she says nothing. To the second, to whom she lends a voice, she speaks. The tree listens to her, scolds her, comforts her, makes her laugh, and encourages her to dance. But nothing changes. Until the day a storm breaks out – a real one.
