Nour, 55, is a home health aide in a rural area. Her daily life consists of car trips, providing care, and casual conversations with the elderly people she looks after: Mrs. B., Mr. D., Mrs. J. … She has been married for a long time—thirty-two years—to Paco, with whom she lives in a small house near Reims, in Beaumont-sur-Vesle. They are a childless couple who love each other and lead a modest, seemingly rather happy life.
One evening at dusk, a luminous object streaking across the sky disrupts reality and disturbs the relentless routine of daily life. This intrusion from another world unsettles this woman, who no longer expected anything and who glimpses the possibility of an escape beyond reason.
