Seasonal Affective Disorder / Trouble affectif saisonnier
You'd have thought it was just an ordinary evening; Vlad, in his forties, had one too many drinks at the bar, Dolly, at the height of her fourteenth year, smoked yet another cigarette; they would have stayed there, each confined to their solitudes and their little ordinary lies. But there was that look, just one, then the call of the flesh, the almost animal need to feel the other, to go around them, to mark them at last, with one's own claw, like a tattoo.
How to follow them, these two outlaws, who do whatever it takes to survive in the face of men and their inflexible judgments? To the mediocrity of everyday life, Dolly and Vlad prefer the sublime and criminal escape that will take them to the end of themselves. Lola Molina's razor-edged dialogue, written for a duo of actors, delicately transgresses the prohibitions and amorous turmoil of a society much quicker to accuse than to forgive.
