Road-Movie Alzheimer

This is the story of three women who set off for Egypt in the hope of rediscovering a lost heritage. It is a ‘reverse road movie’ set against a backdrop of terrorist attacks and Iggy Pop. It is a joyful journey towards death. Ultimately, it is a portrait of three women in search of reconciliation. Through them, we can hear the conflicts that are shaking the Middle East – the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, obscurantism versus tolerance, poverty versus wealth. We are also treated to a cinematic road movie, which energetically explores the themes of exile and the Exodus.
