Ravages

In the vast expanses of eastern Canada, a bar-hotel now welcomes only the occasional tourist drawn by the wild scenery of a cliff that rises from the forest and plunges into the river. A young woman, Alice, and Ti Buck, who has become the owner of the place through a twist of fate, lead a hard life there, divided between moose hunting and the essential daily chores. The return of Corbeau, Ti Buck’s brother, after more than twenty years of wandering through conflict zones – the scars of which he still bears – is set to upset the fragile balance of this small community. Not without leaving a few traces of blood on the snow.
