Pig Boy 1986-2358 is a text-gigogne in three parts.

The first part tells the story of a young French pig farmer in the throes of the 2010s agricultural crisis, who dreams of being a Cow-Boy rather than a Pig Boy.

The second imagines Pig Boy as the star pig of the PERTA ham brand and a direct descendant of one of this Breton farmer's pigs. He is accused of copulating with a Japanese fan, and finds himself in the spotlight during a virtual media trial where the public can decide his fate.

The third part offers an escape into a dreamlike future. We're inside the head of a sow who escapes from a maternity hospital in which she was farrowing human babies. It's the story of her escape to the forest - and it's the story of the reconciliation of the three stories where beasts and humans seek a reason for being, amidst technological flux and the rise of transhumanism.

Even if it means inventing a new species?
