This book brings together the texts of the five shows that have marked thirty years of exploration of the world of clowns, characters with no place in a story and reflecting our absolute and intimate desires, to the point of excess. They also bear witness to the collaboration between a contemporary author and exceptional clowns - Arletti, Zig, le Boudu and Octo - who have chosen an irreversible adventure, questioning the world of theater by bursting into it, and reminding us that the more we need to come together, the deeper we need to go into our solitude.
These plays are a contemporary repertoire for clowns, these marginal characters in whom so many people recognize themselves, a marginality that makes a body, that makes a world.
