Notre histoire

Our Story is a show for two performers and two Artificial Intelligences that questions anti-Semitism and our troubled identities through the prism of a (real) love affair.

Stéphane is Sephardic Jewish and Jana is German. When they meet in 2008, he believes her to be Ashkenazi Jewish. Despite this initial misunderstanding, they have lived together for 10 years and have a child. Today, their 9-year-old daughter is forcing them into an identity check-up. With Notre histoire, they attempt to put their approximate memory into play and confront the questions of their origins, the Holocaust and the anti-Semitism that persists.
