A woman alone in a room awaits the hour of her execution after killing nine men with her bare hands. As a last wish, she asks to be visited by a Vodou priest whose task is to summon the spirit of her child, whom she aborted two days before her crime.
Beyond this drama, resonates the story of the Haitian people crushed by silence and pain. The play questions the nature of survival, impossible, tragic choices, anger, forgiveness, tenderness at last.
