A seaside village, at a shelter for unaccompanied minors.

Harouna, 16, didn’t go on the ski trip. He chose to wait at the shelter for his friend Drissa to return; Drissa has been missing for a few days.

Staying with him are Élise, a 25-year-old social worker, and André, in his fifties, who has just arrived.

In this closed-door setting, reminiscent of a horror thriller, points of reference become blurred and identities waver. Did Drissa run away? Or has something terrible happened to him? Are the village’s retirees to blame?

A political reflection on the power of fiction as a means of personal survival in the face of a violent society.
