Mon absente
Language
French
Author and director Pascal Rambert writes specially for the five actresses and five actors he brings together on stage. _Mon absente_ is a choral piece, in which characters are brought together by the loss of a loved one. In a space plunged into darkness, with indistinct boundaries, bodies and words emerge. Ten people are there to address the absent loved one. What links exist, both between them and with this absent person?
Through their memories, the words exchanged, the evocation of poignant or minute moments, a life is reconstructed. In this work of memory, where contradictions, interpretations and rewritings emerge, portraits of the people involved
portraits of the people involved. Memory is alive and active, a force for projection.
