In “Merveille,” Marie, a isolated farmer weary from the burdens of daily life, gradually sees her life transformed by the unique bond she forms with her cow. Through her connection with the animal, she discovers a slower, more expansive world, where the breath of life becomes a source of peace and renewal.

“Petit quelqu’un” shines a light on Tom, a child with a rare empathy for animals, deeply marked by the death of a deer he regarded as a brother. This ordeal drives him to distance himself from humanity in order to explore the fragile boundary between humans and animals, in search of a more just and freer way to inhabit the world.
