Ma vie pleine d'écailles

Chloé, aged six, doesn’t know who her dad is. Her mum never finishes her sentences and avoids answering questions. So Chloé, too, starts doing things by halves: an unfinished hairstyle, one trouser leg, a painting she’s only just started.
One day, the teacher asks the children to draw their family tree. In front of her classmates, Chloé is really flustered! With the support of her friend Aboudramane and her babysitter Laetitia, she will reconnect with the silent part of her roots.
This subtle and light-hearted fable explores how we come to terms with ourselves when we don’t know the identity of those who came before us.
