While homes are being emptied, demolition/reconstruction work is underway to rehabilitate an urban block. But one man is resisting, despite the departure of his wife, the hostility of the former inhabitants, the relentless official eviction letters, the deteriorating condition of his house. He doesn't want to abandon his home, his pigeons, the place where he grew up, stubbornly persisting for no reason. With him lives his daughter, whom he teaches not to resign herself.
