Les Rêveurs

At once actors, characters and ghosts, Les Rêveurs are all sensitive embodiments of beings on the fringes of their existence. By lifting social masks and abolishing any inherent distinction between the masculine and the feminine, Christophe Pellet sets two worlds in balance: that of representation, where one merely plays a role assigned by society, and that of presence – to oneself and to the world – where a fusion with one’s identity, in perpetual metamorphosis, takes place. This new work is a poetic call for a revolution of the body against binary thinking and patriarchy.
