In the 1970s, three sisters live in isolation in a forest at the foot of a limestone plateau. Above, an intensive livestock farm dominates the landscape; below, the river becomes the scene of strange deaths.
Recently, red filaments have begun to appear in the spring. While local authorities look the other way, the sisters find themselves unwittingly drawn into a struggle for the truth.
