Les Migres
Language
French
"Migrants" wash up on shores or cross mountains. They are then found as far away as "our towns and countryside". The Nation's elected representatives, guarantors of the Order, have divided opinions on the phenomenon. Some call it an "invasion".
In this text for the stage, winner of a Bourse de création from the Centre National du Livre, and a finalist in the Festival de théâtre francophone de Prague and the Prix d'écriture théâtrale de Guérande in a 1st version, everyday situations are presented in a slightly offbeat way, as if we were dealing with a parallel universe, entirely fictional.
