Les Miettes
César and Malune intend to make their fortune. Conveniently, they are blessed with a whole dynasty of child entrepreneurs with long baby teeth. So one could easily imagine that the boards of directors of our large, opaque companies – with their court intrigues, their overt or covert rivalries, and the musical chairs of promotions and demotions, might resemble these childish squabbles where every sibling wants to be the fire chief or the head of the police. And anything would go, since, deep down, nothing would be real. It wouldn’t matter, given what’s at stake. There would be no father or mother, no affection, no scruples – just a frenzied competition, as playful as it is ruthless, and a business plan that’s truly unrealistic, as long as its dividends aren’t mere crumbs.
