Les Lunatiques
2021 Mayenne Departmental Award, Cycle 3.
The parents of Rose, aged 9, are constantly arguing. Rose therefore takes refuge in her own little world… from which she sets off on a journey to the Moon.
A play for young audiences, written in a lively and poetic style. A fable about the quest for love that explores, with a gentle smile, a child’s distress at their parents’ separation
This text was staged as a reading at the Théâtre de la Tête Noire with students from the Tours Conservatoire by Patrice Douchet on 1 June 2015 and, as part of the Festival des Hauts parleurs in 2016, by Carole Drouelle, a revival of this production at the Théâtre de Rungis.
The play is supported by the collective A mots découverts and sponsored by the Association Beaumarchais-SACD.
