Three human “terralinguists” translate a strange correspondence for us: in the far North, a reindeer herd is suffering the effects of climate change. A female reindeer, INGER-MARI, is sent as an emissary by her herd to try to understand what is happening. She travels south across Europe and chronicles her journey in letters to her sisters who have remained back home. At each stage of her journey, she encounters other beings, who are also grappling with “the great acceleration.” As she travels, the caravan grows, encountering struggles, adaptations, and attempts at solutions.

Will they succeed in making their voices and grievances heard by humans?
