Les Amazones Tragédie contemporaine 1749-2020

The war is over. The victorious Amazons are exhausted, hungry and battered. Orithy, their queen, is slow to pronounce the sentence that would reward their bravery, and the Scythians, though defeated, remain massed around the headquarters. The women fighters wish to return home. They are there, underground, waiting. They hope. And it takes a long time.

A stage version of the Amazon myth, a four-hander between a contemporary author and an 18th-century playwright.
