Le Serment d’Europe

Three-quarters of a century after a massacre in which she took part at the age of eight, Europe has been invited to testify about the horror she has carried with her ever since: the killing of eighteen children, who were devoured by dogs. 
She asks Assia Fadiagha, the United Nations investigator who has summoned her to give this testimony, to first find her three daughters, who do not know that she is their mother. With them by her side, Europe attempts to cross the river of her own cruelty where she had abandoned them.
The unbearable burden of writing etches her pain into the tragic, millennia-old theater of blood.
