A quirky comedy with slapstick humor, The Tuesday Morty Diedblurs the lines of chronology. Its characters search for meaning in their lives according to their own logic, where the normal and the abnormal blur together, just as dreams and reality do.

Thus, right from the first scene, the grandfather dies, his life flashing before us in just a few words. The various protagonists attend the funeral, including Papa Pasteur, who begins to doubt his calling. Edith, the grandmother, as well as Amanda, her granddaughter, seem to be at a turning point in their lives. As for Sonny, Amanda’s friend, she is drawn instead to Herbert, Edith’s doctor, who, for his part, feels understood only by his dog Morty.

But events accelerate, and everyone pursues their own quest—starting with Morty, who escapes and meets Edith in the cemetery where the Pastor is wandering.
