Le jour où j'ai compris que le ciel était bleu
So the world changed
I changed too
Because
As I am the world
I am the sky too
That meant I wasn’t grey but blue
That meant that inside me
It wasn’t grey
It was blue
Claire, aged 22, lives with her brother because her unusual attitude and behaviour prevent her from living independently. She has only one thing on her mind: becoming a singer and taking part in the television programme To Be a Star. But on the day her neighbour tries to hug her against her will, Claire reacts so violently that she puts him into a coma. A long trial follows, during which it will be determined who is the victim and who is the culprit. To do so, a precise psychiatric diagnosis will have to be established.
What does it mean to be ‘normal’? What if it were simply a matter of perspective? The text explores these questions and tells us about those who are ‘different’, about carers and support workers, but also about justice, love and dreams.
