Le Ciel de Nantes

What can you inherit when your heritage is nothing but destroyed lives? How do you save your skin without feeling you're betraying your own? In a seemingly abandoned cinema, Christophe Honoré's grandmother, Mémé Kiki, reunites with some of her ten children. There's also Father Puig, her second husband, banished years ago. They are here because one of their grandchildren, the one who makes films, the one who no longer lives in the same world as them, has something to tell them. He has imagined a film to tell their shared story - a film the filmmaker had indeed written but never resolved to shoot.
