A teenage girl ran away from the refugee camp where she had been taken in to join the young soldier who kidnapped her.

But he remains strangely silent. As she waits for him to wake up, she tells him about her life, her fears, and her shattered dreams.

Amid a civil war, she was abducted and forced to join a rebel group. A victim of gang rape by fighters from a rival ethnic group on the day of her abduction, she then became the sex slave of the commander of “her” group; she gave birth in secret and tried to kill the child before fleeing.

Now that the war is over, the only person she still has any hope of relying on is the young boy who had kidnapped her.
