A man and a woman run into each other one evening at a provincial hotel. They’ve just left the courthouse, where their divorce has been finalized. It’s all over, as if someone had died. So now they can talk. It doesn’t matter anymore. At least, that’s what they’d like to believe.
It’s all over, so everything can begin anew.
Their words will go all the way, and so will their love.
A screenplay for British television—a “drama” that became a first play, then a feature film, then a second play—La Musica never ceases to rewrite the impossible score of love.
