La Grande Dépression

The Great Depression is a historical fantasy, a documented hallucination. On the boards of his mental theater, a depressive character confronts the medicinal remedies offered to him with the collective remedies brought, in the thirties, to the Great Depression. On one continent, Walter Disney wants to swallow reality whole in an enchanted universe. On another continent, National Socialists set to music a terrifying utopia. The two empires look at each other, reject and attract. In this crossing, we'll come across: Nazi musicologists, cartoon colorists, Mickey Mouse plushies, amusement parks, SS men undergoing retraining, blind projectionists, wandering planets...
