They're eight years old, and they're tackling an essential and widely shared subject: parental separation.
My parents split up when I was a kid. I was about 5 or 7.
And they asked me if I wanted to live with Dad or with Mom.
I told them I wanted to think before I chose.
I wanted to weigh up the pros and cons.
With my dad, I can eat hamburgers every day, we can watch TV at night
tV at night, I don't have to shower and I only do my homework on Wednesdays
do my homework only on Wednesdays.
With my mom, we have to eat leeks, go to bed at
8pm, we have to wash every day and she doesn't have much of a
much of a sense of humor.
So...
I chose my mother.
