La Dernière interview

This is a variation on the actual interview Jean Genet gave to Nigel Williams for the BBC in London in the summer of 1985. In this face-to-face interview, Jean Genet, as usual, breaks the rule by reversing the roles: he becomes the interviewer as well as the interviewee. As the leader of the game, he orally writes his own interview... constantly questioning the function of the interviewer and the respondent... This dialogue is a strange theatrical moment in which Genet himself becomes a character - or characters - in his own life and work.
