Enterrement d'une vie de jeune fille

The 1980s. Jean, a successful music producer, cuts short a photography safari in Africa to rush back, with his new partner, to the family home in Saint-Jean-de-Bazieux: his younger sister has died. Like him, she had left the family home to try her luck in the city in the music industry. But she had less success and could not count on her brother’s support… which she may not even have sought, if the letters she never sent are anything to go by. Naturally, this return to the countryside after so many years – and, what’s more, to attend a funeral – reignites tensions amongst the siblings. All the more so because, as always, hidden beneath the dust of time lie a few secrets that cloud relationships within the family…
